Voices from the Margins:
Seriality and the Introductory Writing Classroom

My master’s thesis examines how introductory writing classes can empower marginalized voices and build inclusive classroom communities by adapting serial storytelling techniques. It explores integrating diverse narratives into mainstream discourse through worldbuilding, continuity devices, and cyclical writing practices, offering practical strategies for educators to enhance student engagement and representation.
